Nepal has removed the minimum investment threshold for foreign investors. Foreign nationals and entities can now invest in most sectors without a mandatory minimum capital requirement, subject to standard approval from the Department of Industry or Investment Board of Nepal depending on investment scale.

Yes, 100% foreign ownership is permitted in most sectors. However, certain sectors (banking, insurance, media, and a few others) require minimum local equity participation.
